Finally, I want to thank everyone for making my dream of building these guitars a reality—new orders are always coming in and I’m very happy with the new batch that will be finishing up very soon. Some special guitars are nearing completion, and I can’t wait to get them out to their new owners…which is the best part of the job.

First off, they’re totally waterproof and airtight. So next time you have your guitar with you while fan-boating through the Everglades, you’re covered. It even floats. More importantly, you could stack all your gear on top of it in the back of your car and not need to worry. They come equipped with a couple of large handles and wheels, which is a huge help when loading in and out of gigs. Fiberglass handles with TSA locks allow you to lock your guitar on the plane, and the TSA can still open it up should they need to.

Inside is a high-quality red crushed velvet padding—and tons of neck support, which is always the first thing I look at in cases. And depending on the guitar, I can customize the inside to ensure a tight, solid fit.

The best thing about SKB cases? Lifetime Warranty. This is huge. Break a handle or a latch, and they’ll send you the parts needed to repair it, wherever you are. My father has a case like this for golf clubs—a latch broke during a flight, and SKB sent out a new one with the tools needed to fix it.
